Environmentally friendly production: The fiber for Lyocell socks is made from the cellulose in the wood of the eucalyptus tree. Eucalyptus grows particularly quickly and, unlike cotton, requires no artificial irrigation, fertilization, or chemical additives such as pesticides. The cellulose fiber obtained from the eucalyptus tree is a synthetic fiber made from natural raw materials. Unlike other fibers, the industrial production of Lyocell fiber is environmentally friendly, as only non-toxic solvents and comparatively little water are required. Furthermore, the fibers, and thus also our Lyocell socks, are biodegradable.
