Alpacas are sheep-camel species (llamas) that are bred in South America. They are naturally endowed with a thick, soft and very fine fleece of hair to cope with the climate there, which can reach temperatures of up to -25°. The wool hairs have a natural range of colors from white through all shades of brown to deep black. -
