Alpacas are camelids (sheep-like animals) bred in South America. Naturally, they are equipped with a thick, soft, and very fine fleece, adapted to the region's climate, which can drop to -25°C. The wool exhibits a natural color palette ranging from white through all shades of brown to deep black.
